AN IDEAL CITIZEN
1. Our constitution has given us certain rights and duties .
2. These rights are called the fundamental rights .
3. But in return , they indirectly impose upon us certain duties as well .
4. An ideal citizen is one who gives priority to his duties , when compared to his rights .
5. An ideal citizen is always loyal and faithful towards his country .
6. He has respect for his constitution and abides by the law of the country.
7. He never does anything which is not in the interest of the country .
8. He pays his taxes properly and never forgets to cast his vote and choose an honest candidate.
9. An ideal citizen is always ready to defend his country .
10. He is prepared to sacrifice anything for the sake of his country .
11. He protects the freedom of his nation .
12. He is always faithful to his country .
13. He takes care of public property and helps all law - abiding citizens .
14. He cooperates with the government in the development process .
